President's message

Dear Resident, Business and Community Member,

On behalf of the hardworking police officers who serve Palo Alto every day, thank you for your ongoing support. Our mission is to protect and serve the community of Palo Alto and promote a commitment to community service in the city that we serve and reside in. You will find our members active in civic, fraternal, and sporting organizations throughout the city.

In this fast-paced, technologically-advanced age, we strive to create an atmosphere of transparency and communication, which will strengthen the relationship between our officers and the community. By engaging in community outreach programs and supporting those who align with our philosophies, we feel we can make a positive difference in the lives of people who need this most.

The Palo Alto POA consists of 76 sworn officers, who have taken an oath to protect our citizens, and represent the finest elements of our community. Each and every day, we work to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone -- especially our children. We are proud of the various local, regional, state and national charities which benefit from our support and involvement. The Special Olympics Torch Run, Tip a Cop, Polar Bear Plunge, and Babe Ruth Soccer Team, among several other charitable organizations, are supported by our association. Feel free to click here to help us support our benevolent mission, and align yourself with us in this charitable effort.

We're honored and humbled by the duty you have placed in us to protect our community. Again, we thank you for your interest and support of the Palo Alto POA, and hope you and your families stay safe for the coming years.

Best Regards,

Ken Kratt
